Outback Steakhouse

"I don't typically leave bad reviews, but I can't help myself with this one. We made reservations for 6 people 1 baby for 5:45 about a week ago. We stood at the door until 6:05 when the hostess (who was right beside us) said "I have you marked as seated, but your not, so follow me" no big deal, we enjoyed conversation with people we don't see often so we let it slide. Then it took about 10 minutes before they took our drink orders. Then, 20 minutes after that, the bartender brought over the alcoholic beverages that were ordered, and our waitress said "oh thanks, I forgot all about that" I thought , at least she's honest. At 7:25 we asked how much longer our food was going to take. The response was, "Our kitchen is slammed with takeout orders, so I'm not sure." My sister in laws steak was ordered well done, and it was medium rare. She had blood on the plate. The waitress turned the flashlight on, on her phone and said "no that's medium well. My food was cold. Other than that, though, everything was mediocre at best. For the price they charge they really need to fix the experience. My family used to own a restaurant so I can be very understanding to a bad experience. I'm not going to write this place off just yet. It will be quite awhile, but I will try it one more time with maybe just my wife and son hoping that the bad experience was just because they can't handle large tables (even though I don't consider 6 large)"

"On a Saturday night we were seated quickly and the service was wonderful. The food was good, with the only miss being the soup was lukewarm. I just ate it and didn't want to fuss about it. I splurged for filet & lobster. Lobster tail was a bit small, but the steak was cooked perfect. We had a nice time."

"Popped in on a random Tuesday around 1pm. Jenny was working behind the bar. She greeted me immediately and asked if I'd like something to drink. She was attentive and friendly. Very professional. Brought bread right out to me. I ordered the seared peppered ahi and it was delicious. Managing partner, Summer, came by to check on me. She was very friendly and was pleasant to talk to. Definitely will return to this location."
