Dr MCBEAN fixed my issues and I’m approximately 1 year post revision and I couldn’t be happier. His staff is phenomenal. Dr MCBEAN bedside manners was above anything I’ve ever witnessed. I will refer everyone to his office."

"This was the very first time I have ever dealt with a facility so unprofessional. I can’t believe Rini (if that is her name, as she was unwilling to give it to me), is the face of the company. When calling to schedule an appointment she was rude and unwilling to help the entire time. Being this was my first time scheduling a such appointment, I had questions about the process and what was needed. She thought it was a joke and gave me smart remarks throughout. Rini proceeded to tell me she was not going to repeat herself when I confirmed information. I guess you are expected to know it all? I made her aware this review would be written and she told me she didn’t care. I asked to speak to someone else as I was not comfortable carrying on conversation with this lady, she told me that there was no one else I could talk to- I had to go through her. Rini then stated exactly, “find a different surgeon if that’s too hard for you” and hung up the phone. I called back three times and she ignored the call. After finally getting scheduled, I met with Dr. McBean. He was amazing!!! I would recommend him overall, but I suggest they find someone else to represent that front desk."

"I got the lap band done in 2012 and moving I’m looking for a specialist in case i need someone. The lap band is a bariatric procedure yet when i called and explained to the front desk lady it took me saying the “lap band bariatric gastric surgery” for her to understand what procedure i was talking about (strike 1 for me when you are a bariatric institute and don’t even know what the term “lap band procedure” means) Strike 2 was being informed they could help me but i would be REQUIRED to go to their seminar for folks looking at surgery options before seeing a doctor. Even though i ALREADY had the surgery. It is a waste of resources and time on my end as well as the institute to tell someone that they are required to waste an hour to watch a video on something they already have (really? You have got to be kidding me!) Strike 3 was then telling me that in order for adjustments if i were to get them would cost anywhere self pay between $260-330 when i currently pay $75 self pay for the exact same thing. It’s an absolute joke the name of this place and they didn’t even know what the lap band was."
