About the Business
Greenbelt Children's Center is a school located at 7600 Hanover Parkway in Greenbelt, Maryland, United States. Our school philosophy is focused on providing children with endless opportunities for fun and learning through play-based activities. We believe in the importance of collaboration between parents and teachers, and our programs are designed to involve parents in their child's education.
We encourage families to help their child with language and literacy development in various areas such as building vocabulary, comprehension, and learning about letters and sounds. Our goal is to cultivate curiosity, exploration, and observation skills in young children, while instilling a love of learning and school.
Our dedicated team of faculty and staff is excited to meet you and provide high-quality early childhood education and care that enriches cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development. We are currently not conducting visits due to COVID-19, but will resume when it is safe to do so.
Greenbelt Children's Center is licensed by the MSDE Office of Child Care and is committed to providing culturally appropriate and diverse education through play-based practices. We welcome referrals to our accredited childcare center and are dedicated to promoting equality and non-discrimination in accordance with federal civil rights laws and USDA regulations.

"My neighbor had good things to say so, I wanted to check out this center. She sent her daughter here a few years ago and loved the place. I talked with the director, Ms. Simone and she anwered all my questions, made me feel calm and was so pleasant."
"Please be careful about we’re you choose for your children to go. I called and informed them of my daughters needs for the summer program and I was told they would be able to accommodate her. Then I turned in my paperwork and paid my registration and was informed that my kids could also come with me so they can look at the facility, not knowing, they was evaluating my children without my knowledge, or consent. Then they called me the next week and told me my daughter could not attend because she would be a liability and would also not refund my registration. To make matters worse it is very unsafe. They allow their front door to be unlocked and open at certain times of the morning and evening for parents to have access to the facility. The problem with that is anyone can walk in and hurt your children. Would not recommend sending your child to this center."
"My now 7yo went to daycare here years ago and he loved it. The kids are always doing something- there is no sitting around and doing nothing there. The director is great, and the facility is organized. I would use them again!"
