"Very tiny, mean tiny place, so it doesn't take a lot of people to fill up. They were very accommodating for us. When we went, they only had a 2 top, but made it a 3 top for us. Service was really good. They made sure we were taken care of. Pretty solid Mexican food. Nothing was overly amazing, but good. Thought with the name Soup in their name they would have a few more options than they had, but my wife and I both got a cup. The soup, I think, is more of the star of the joint. We were both pleasantly surprised at how tasty they were and hit the spot on a cold night. Would definitely come back and eat here again."
"We enjoyed a nice lunch here. The Tacos & the soup were great as were the burrito, guacamole, salsa, chips & coffee. I have had better Chili Rellenos though and that’s the only thing I would avoid. I do look forward to returning and trying some other menu items"
"Taco Tuesday special is a great deal! Tacos were pretty good. Chorizo had the perfect amount of heat. Carnitas meat was good and juicy, not over cooked. Shredded beef taco was fine. The carnitas and shredded beef needed a lot more flavor. Chips and salsa were meh. Chips were so stale I didn’t eat them. Pretty sure they save the chips leftover from previous customers. I worked at a Mexican restaurant back home and they would do this. I put my straw wrapper in the chip basket to test it out. Server took the wrapper out of the basket at the table before taking the chip basket to the back. Interesting…"
"This restaurant is a treasure. I had a vegetarian chimichanga that had grilled veggies inside, homemade guacamole on top, and was accompanied by the tastiest rice and homemade beans I have had in a long time. Our server was friendly and attentive. The menu was full of excellent choices--it was hard to decide what to order. The location is right in downtown Fredericksburg, but we did not have trouble finding a parking spot nearby."
