"Over the years I have taken dance lessons at about five different studios. Most of them were independent but a couple were large franchise studios like Fred Astaire Frederick. There are benefits to both types but what is really nice about Fred Astaire Frederick is that it has the resources of a franchise but the family feeling of an independent. They will tailor your lessons to what you want to do and achieve and they are not pushy about it. They have grown quite a bit in the 18 months I have been there and are outgrowing their current space. This spring, if all goes well, they will move into a new, much larger space which will be great. I can highly recommend them to anyone starting out all the way to those who are well along their dance journey. They also teach more than just ballroom style dancing. You can also learn hustle, salsa, bachata and others. So whether you want to start lessons, put together a wedding dance routine, or just get some fun exercise and socialize, this is a place you need to check out."

"I have been coming to the Frederick Fred Astaire Dance Studio for almost 7 months. I love this place! Is so much fun, the environment is amazing, and everyone is very supportive and encouraging. I started coming to the Friday class and dance party, it is a great way to learn the basic and practice what you learn during the party. I have met so many wonderful people here. They also do a lot of different activities. All the instructors are great, but shout out to Mr. Peter Spencer-Strong, he is the BEST! He is a great instructor, very knowledgeable, and patient (much needed quality to teach me). Also, he is super fun to dance with. Join us! You wont regret it! :)"
