"Over the years the service has declined. Last night was the final straw, I needed allergy medication that can only be purchased at the pharmacy counter. I walked up to the pharmacy at 8:30 pm. The woman at the pharmacy said sorry we’re closed. I said “How is that when the front door says open till 9pm as does online” sure could only respond with we reopen at 9am tomorrow!! No wonder I always liked CVS better!!!"

"Drove 30 minutes from the doctors office to Rite Aid. Was informed the prescription would take another 15 minutes. I let the pharmacy tech know that I had my sick child waiting in the car and I would need to come back. This was at 5 PM. It might’ve been helpful for her to tell me that they closed at six. Went back at 6:20 unable to get medication. CVS is open until 9 PM. I had avoided switching to there because normally Rite Aid provides excellent customer service. May need to rethink."

"I went in today to purchase vitamins. I went to check out and the 2 far left registers were self checkouts - card only and I prefer not to shop that way. The remaining registers all said "use > register" but not one was open! Meantime, in the little office area next to the far right register, there were 2 women loudly talking and laughing. I seem to remember there used to be a bell to summon assistance? I left the Centrum in front one of the registers and I doubt I'll be back to pick it up. Very, very poor customer service. I can go to CVS or Shop Rite, I don't need Rite Aid."

"I needed to buy Nicolette lozenges so I stopped in here to buy them. They refused to sell them to me without SCANNING my drivers license. Seeing it was not good enough. I am also over 40 and look every day of my age. So in order to buy nicotine lozenges, you need to be willing to give Rite Aid your name, address, date of birth, driving license number and any of the other info that is stored on your license. Ironically, they have no problem handing you a prescription with just a verbal date of birth. The cashier told me she was a manager and couldn’t override the policy. This policy is not about preventing people that are underage from buying smoking cessation stuff. It’s about grabbing your data. Don’t do it. I will not be shopping or filling prescriptions at Rite Aid again."

"The regular part of the store and staff are great. The pharmacy is horrible, the service is bad, the medications are frequently unavailable, and mistakes are commonly made. My family had used it on occasion, but we felt that we were loosing brain cells every time we dealt with them, therefore we had transferred all our prescriptions to Warren County Pharmacy because their service and friendly demeanor made it a pleasure to deal with, then Rite Aid bought them out, and now we are very reluctantly back to having our prescriptions filled there again."
