"I went there and was instantly welcomed by the Bartender Lynn, she was super sweet and helpful, makes some amazing drinks. The food was absolutely amazing, those chefs that are currently there, they know what they're doing! I've never been to a place like this and I'm so glad I got to experience it. 10/10 highly recommend. Hoping to go back for sure!"

"The rating is specifically for the food! Absolutely Amazing!!! We had the braised ribs and steak. We moved from NJ and finding good food in the area is a bit tough except for very few areas. We used to eat in top restaurants in Hoboken, Montclair, Edgewater and I can say this place is on the very top of our list! Can’t wait to go back next week!"

"Very charming, unique place to stay right in the middle of town. All of the staff encountered were super friendly. You get to utilize some of the services of Hotel Fauchere which is half a block down the road (same company owns both), including free breakfast and a beautiful courtyard with a water fountain, benches, and firepits, out back. It's an old, historic building with creaky floors and tight stairways - but I thought that added to the overall charm. Room was cozy and clean. They have their own parking, so you don't have to worry about parking on the street. The attached bar/restaurant is good (see separate review). I'd stay here again."

"Very Kool historical building. Wonderful staff. My friend stayed the night and said it was clean and quiet. I visited her and it was nice. Her breakfast was at a 5-star restaurant they also own a few doors down. Many movie stars stay here like her for the Black Bear Film Festival as well as other times."

"I had booked a room with two beds and upon arrival after an 8hr car ride we got there and we were checked in very quickly and then off to our room. From here is went downhill quickly. I got to the room and when I opened the door there was luggage and was obviously occupied. I immediately went back to the desk (which is down the street) to let them know and see what was going on and she had no idea. She wanted to check the room since it was supposed to be empty and then suggested another room with a bed and sofa bed. I did not book two beds for it to be changed, so I said we will need a room comparable to what I booked or two rooms. Before I share the next “what in the world” moment, the issue was that someone that checked in earlier was mistakenly given our room key. We ended up getting two rooms that shared a bathroom in between and then was told that there was a price difference for that and I immediately pushed back and said I refuse to pay as this was a mistake on their end, which she did agree with after I said it. From the time we arrived to the time we actually got into our room it was an hour and a half later. The lady, though flustered, was still nice (she gets one of the stars). One other item to note of, the AC unit was set to the lowest temp and it barely pumped out cool air, which is needed when you are on the third floor. I will not be staying here again. Side note, we met the chef and he was engaging and kind. And even though we didn’t eat there, he gets the other star."
