"My family and I haven't been diving for some time and are getting ready for a trip to St. Croix. I signed us all up (myself, wife, two teenage sons) for a PADI Reactivate course with Mad About Diving in Fredericksburg. Bottom line we had an excellent experience and I would highly recommend them for your diving needs, whatever they may be. Mark (the owner) was super helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. We had some technical issues getting the PADI stuff to come through for one of my kids (discrepancy in how his name was registered to his PADI cert) but Mark went above and beyond to get us squared away. We had Mark and two additional instructors during the pool work, and we all definitely had plenty of personal attention. And now we're ready to get back in the water! The shop isn't large but he does nonetheless have a pretty good selection of quality gear (Cressi, Mares, others) and has more inventory out of the shop. We got some new mask, snorkle, fin, boots sets for the kids. He's also got some pretty awesome trips coming up and of course offers all the advanced certifications. I'm thinking of doing the Rescue Diver course in a couple of months. Happy to provide a 5 star review for this awesome shop!"

"I signed up for the Rescue course with Mark, this was the first course I've taken with the shop and all I can say is this... if you want a passionate instructor that will teach you the course content, add in some real life situations and practice scenarios, Mark is your guy!!! You can tell he wants all of his students to learn the skills that are required and necessary as well as troubleshoot scenarios you can't plan for.
