"One of the most equipped stores in Boardman, OH. Has an unbelievable amount of all things video games, music, and movies from all decades. Staff is always accommodating and friendly."
"Decent selection however poor customer service. Never been to an exchange where I ask an employee to see in a case, they acknowledge me, and that employee continues to sweep two more full rows until they help me. Then proceed to show me body language like I’m annoying them trying to possibly buy something. Not once but twice. Second time, what I believe to be a manager had to tell the same employee to help me because the 3 of them were too busy talking to each other. I get they want to go home, irregardless of it being 15 minutes left or not. The exchange closed at 9pm that night. Not at 8:45. If I was there past 9PM I could understand frustration. I normally don’t care enough to write a review because I get it’s just teenagers working sometimes. However this was just poor experience. Whoever is running the place get it together, I left empty handed and overall frustrated."
"This is an absolutely amazing store! They always have some spectacular rare gems at reasonable prices! I couldn't believe all the rare and vintage games and music that they have displayed. It makes me want to add to my collection and all the friendly and knowledgeable staff make it easy to make the transaction easy and simple. The rewards program is killer, so be sure to be on it. Thia being said, The Exchange as a franchise is something that people in our area take for granted, but I am super thankful to have the opportunity to shop at such a wonderful establishment and to be able to buy and sell nostalgic memorabilia to keep it alive for the real passionate people of the many different mediums in the world of entertainment."
"The best part about this chain of stores is the selection of pop culture merchandise as well as their video game selection, however for the video game side of things the prices of most of the retro games are extremely expensive. Sometimes 15-20% higher than market value for old games and this completely turned me away from collecting from this store."
