"Our dog Lucy suffered partial tears in both of her CCL’s. We took her to this vet and had a fine visit. They took our dog without telling us what they would be doing with her which felt a little weird especially when it took 45 min but ultimately I thought the vet we met with was rational and had a good conversation with them. Which is why they are receiving 2 stars. We were told the notes of our conversation would be shared with us so we could make a decision on what to do. It has been over 2 weeks and I have followed up 4x and still no notes. After spending basically our entire day getting to Annapolis, having her assessed, and driving back to DC, and spending almost $300 on the visit, they don’t have the decency to send notes to us so we can make an informed decision in the care of our dog? They recommended a specific supplement during our conversation, and I’d like to order those to give to our dog, but they can’t even share that information until the notes are “closed”. When asked why the notes had yet to be closed yet, I get no answer. Every time I call, there is no real answer information as to why it has taken this long. They say they’ll escalated but here I am 2.5 weeks later without any follow up from them and unclear on the care plan for my dog. This is absolutely ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and go to another place."

"Everyone was very polite & helpful. The assistant tech was amazing. She helped me lift my dog out of the car and back in upon leaving & went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Thankfully no surgery is needed at this time. We will continue to monitor at home & try out new medication. Hopefully she will heal quickly and get back to her old self."

"Our Oliver came here with a torn CCL. While it was a very stressful situation for us, Oliver has loved coming here for surgery as well as PT. He is well on his way back to normal activities. The staff here have been wonderful and are sensitive to Oliver's dog reactivity. Hopefully we never need this surgery again, but if we do, this is the first place we are going to call"

"I am very grateful to Dr. Knoeckel and his team. He gave me 3 more months with my baby girl Precious. She was having trouble walking and was up in age. We decided it was better to give her quality of life instead of quantity. With his suggestion we put her on steroids and she was doing great almost a puppy again. He communicated with me every step of the way. I knew it was only temporary and that at any time she would go back down hill. Those last few months we were able to go for long wagon walks and endless snuggles. So thank you for giving me more time with Precious. She crossed the rainbow bridge on 4-11-23."
