"Severely understaffed and it does impact service and wait times. One vet on duty for the volume done here is cutting way too many corners. Not fair to vet, staff, or patients. I also wish I had read more recent bad reviews cuz it seems my two experiences were not abnormal. Go to Anne Arundel instead. They're better staffed and equipped. They also don't make you wait 10 hours in the worst chairs imagineable, with no updates. 4-6 hours somehow became 10 with no updates."

"My partner and I, had the most AMAZING experience at Dogs and Cats Emergency & Specialty! The entire staff that dealt with my dog's care was super compassionate. The excellent and professional customer service was top tier, from booking his appointment, to actually meeting everyone! Dr. Jennifer Harrison really took her time explaining everything to us in FULL detail and answered any questions or concerns we had. We felt so comfortable and appreciated the fact that she took the time to do a full research of my dog's medical history, before she even came to speak with us. Blew us away! We didn't feel pressured to make any decisions. The hospital and rooms were very clean and organized. I'm so happy that we found this place and will definitely take Dr. Harrison's advise regarding the next steps moving forward with our adorable furbaby. "We took our girl Tulip here after a chaotic emergency surgery for aftercare & they were wonderful. Very informative and helpful about her condition ,they got her set up with Dr.Ferreri in Internal Medicine and I really liked her vibe. Tiara at the check in counter has been so patient ,helpful, and kind in getting answers for any questions we've had during Tulips recovery. I definitely recommend Dogs & Cats."

"I can’t thank Dogs and Cats Emergency Hospital and Speciality enough for saving our chocolate lab Diesel’s life! Dr. Mitterman and her team from the moment we walked in their door were attentive and got Diesel the care he needed right away. Going from vet to vet only to be told no one could help him was earth shattering, but thankfully we were referred to Dogs and Cats and he got the care he needed the same day and came home to us on Saturday. "My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from Florida with their daughter and two dogs. One of the dogs got into the garbage and got his head stuck in a smart popcorn brand bag. We were all upstairs and did not realize what had happened. My brother heard the other dog barking so he went to check on the dog. That's when he found the dog. He was suffocating. We began to administer CPR. We immediately called the Veterinarian at "Dogs and Cats Emergency" we immediately drove the dog. They were waiting outside for us with a gurney to take the dog in. They evaluted him right away. We were so impressed with their care and compassion for the dog and for us!!! We can't thank you enough!!"
