"Bashaara is an awesome stylist. Very professional and knowledgeable. I have curly, medium to long hair and she has cut & straightened my hair and has done a wonderful job each time. Would highly recommend!"

"I have been there 3 times. The first 2 visits were a good experience however my third visit was just bad.Went to get a sew in and the lady working on my hair was just rude, she judged me for getting store bought hair… not coming back."

"I use to travel to Brooklyn to get my hair done, until I got the referral to SHADES. Best referral ever. The atmosphere is peaceful, and professional. Your appointment time is honored, which is a major plus, because anyone who gets their hair done knows,Waiting for hours to get your hair done is the worse. All the staff is pleasant, the products used are top of the line, and your hair feels healthy when she's done. Highly Recommend. ❤"

"Always passed by, never went inside. Decided to get a wash and cut and twist on my natural 4c hair. Left with twists in and took out myself by choice. They looked awesome. I’ve never had anyone else do my hair since going natural but they really made me happy. Very satisfied with the service, clean environment, and I’ll be going back."
