"My rating is based on pricing. I picked this place because I thought it was more affordable than other good salons. The complete online pricing was missing. When I called to schedule the appointment the front desk confirmed the online pricing I saw, but forgot to mention some additional prices. I didn’t know that I had to pay additional for my type of hair. I scheduled for a haircut and blowout. I thought about adding the flat iron to my service, but I said no. When I arrived to the salon I found out that the price given to me by phone wasn’t accurate and I was going to pay more because of the type of hair. I could have gone at that moment, but decided to stay and pay the additional fee. However, at the end of the service I was charged even more. I couldn’t comprehend why. No one explained the charges to me and I made the mistake of not asking. The only additional charge I can think of is the flat iron service. However, I didn’t ask for it and she only used it few times, which doesn’t justify the charges. Based on this experience, I don’t think I will come back to this salon. For what I paid and the service, I could have gone to any other reputable salon and pay less."

"I have been going to shear serenity to get my haircut and highlights done and its always phenomenal every time. I just got married on May 13th 2023 and used the salon to style my hair as well as my bridal party and Jess and Courtney did an amazing job! They were so accommodating and made sure everyones hair looked great! my bridal hair stayed in the ENTIRE DAY from 12pm to 2am! I highly recommend this salon to anyone whether its from getting your hair colored or cut to formal styling!"
