"Everything you need for an average homeowner and most of the stuff for pros. I especially like the selection of fasteners, lumber selection would deserve some improvement. Around holidays you can find pretty sweet deals. If you are a veteran you will have 10% off. Pet friendly, plenty of parking."
"Lowe's seems to really be struggling these days. Last year I bought a dryer, had it installed quickly and without a hitch. This year I couldn't even get a pedestal sink installed. Their installation policy is now unclear and confusing, It was explained to me that a fee is now charged to have a contractor set up an appointment to assess your installation. I was told that I would receive a call within the next couple of days by a contractor which never happened. Apparently their contractors are now outsourced to Angi's so I receive an email a couple days later asking for my availability. Then they scheduled an appointment for the following week but also asked for more information about the job to which I told them I was confused because I thought this was only an assessment. They responded the next day saying "We hope we were able to resolve your issue and we’d love your feedback." The contractor never showed up for the appointment. They had his contact number listed so I called and left a voicemail, but never heard back. The next day I went back to Lowe's and cancelled the service and got my refund."
"Be careful with this place and online orders: I ordered a pack of 20 eye lag screws, picked it up (given to me in a plastic bag), popped it in my car and went home only to discover a ripped packaging with only 1 screw left. Disappointing. I went back to the store to politely explain what happened but the customer service manager Doug implied that I must have damaged the packaging myself, lost the screws and was trying to con them."
