"I was so excited to try rowdy roots. The reviews were great and I messaged Pam and we talked on the phone about my appointment she quoted me at 110 and said she could buy my formula I used to use before my stylist at another salon retired. The day of my appointment i woke up and took a shower. Dried my hair and tried to get my infant down for her morning nap. I ended up being seven minutes late. I apologized as soon as I arrived and explained I was having issues with my infant. I was not turned away but it set the whole tone of the appointment. I sat down and she instantly asked me what I wanted to do with my hair. There was no advice or small talk really like I’ve read in other reviews or stylist insight. I said I might want bangs and she told me I had until she was done trimming my ends to decide. I asked if I could wait until after my hair was dyed and she said no. She applied color to my roots through to my ends. I noticed a very small spot that she missed but I didn’t want to be ungrateful for her getting my formula. I then had my hair rinsed and my hair dried. I went to pay and she said 140. I said you quoted me at 110 and she said I didn’t know how long your hair was. I stated that I scheduled due to her quote. She agreed to 110 and I tipped 20. There was a credit card service charge of 5.20 she never mentioned or is stated on the website. Once I got into my car I noticed a spot of hair that was also not dyed. As a few days went by I kept finding more and more spots. Then I took a video of the back of my hair with my hair in a bun and the entire underside of my head was not really dyed at all. I contacted the salon with images and a video and Pam says it’s because I did not come in with washed hair. I literally washed it two hours prior. I have been having my hair dyed professionally since 2003. The only reason I had so much regrowth is because I had a baby and didn’t have time for me. She said she would give me the formula she ordered but would not fix my hair for me because I was 15 mins late (I was already in the salon chair at 10:15 and have proof of it) and would refund me her tip. I just wanted my hair fixed. I went to a salon and numerous spots as seen in the photos I provided are not dyed at all. I have only washed my hair once since I was at the salon. The first two photos are the day of. I do not recommend this salon. I have never written a bad review for a salon before. The rare occasion I have been unhappy with a hair service the stylist always made it right. If being slightly late for an appointment means you will never be seen again even to fix a mistake on the stylist part then they clearly do not have flexibility and the interest in making their costumers happy and lack professionalism. I was not belligerent. I said I didn’t want to write a bad review and would love to resolve this and get my hair fixed but she refuses to fix it."
