"What you expect in Kinzua. Does the job for all size craft."
"Not a paddle sports friendly boat ramp! Parking near the ramp was designated trailer rigs only. Had to park at the main lot, near the swimming beach, to which is a long trudge to the water. Since I was going on a multi-night canoe camping trip, it meant multiple long trudges between the car and shore. Even worse when I got back, because all the gear had to be hauled uphill to the lot. The park is really showing its age and neglect, with deteriorating asphalt lot and concrete curbings, fallen trees in lot, bathrooms permanently closed, beach sand no longer replenished. At least the grass was mowed and trimmed. I WAS charged $5/day parking, despite also paying for the $12/night boat/hike in campgrounds scattered along the shoreline."

"Easy in and out with a side slot for canoes and kayaks. With a senior or access pass, $2.50 per day, $5 without. Great spot on the reservoir for small boats, lots of ducks and other birds around. It goes near a closed end and Kinzua Creek so not much motor traffic when heading that way. Just be sure to use a bathroom before you go, as all but one are closed."
