"Used to shop in here before the weird passive aggressive paper signs went up but I no longer feel comfortable shopping in here. There are so many other stores in the area that have a much more welcoming environment and most of them are even cheaper then Big Lots. I would strongly advise you to shop somewhere else."

"The lady at the check out counter was very rude! Went to pay for my items and there was no line. She told me walk around 2 isles to get the register. Then she made me wait while her another worker chatted while leaning up against the wall. When she called me over to wait on me, she was so fake trying to be nice. As I said there was no one in line and 3 people behind the counter with 3 registers. Normally I do not post negative ratings, etc. This one got to me. No matter what, turn the other cheek and be nice; which is what i did!"

"I visited the Laurel store on March 11, 2023. I was impressed by every employee I ran into during my visit. DANIELLE was extremely professional and helpful, and put in extra effort to assist me. She was a complete pleasure to deal with, and should be thanked for her efforts!!"

"First time in the store today and saw this gorgeous patio set. Only to be told that’s not the actual price. Manager said she wouldn’t honor the price. She said she didn’t work in the furniture department, so she wasn’t responsible for the sign still being up. First time I’ve ever heard something like that!! We were so excited about this store coming to Laurel, unfortunately we will not be back."
