Crate & Barrel

"I came to have dinner at Tysons Galleria with my husband. In the time we were waiting to be sat, I walked into Crate & Barrel to browse furniture. I happened to pick up (of all things) some placemats we needed for our dining table. They were under Maxwell placemats for $9.95. There were different place mats next to them with no price tag underneath (so it was safe to make the assumption that what I picked up and those next to it were all Maxwell.) When I got to the register, my placemats were actually Rizzo for $14.95. The placemats were apparently switched by “customers” according to the sales associate and the manager Emily. Except Rizzo placemats didn’t even have a tag anywhere on the shelves. The store refused to acknowledge the price the items I wanted were under and blamed it on the “system” not allowing them to change it. I spoke to the manager Emily and she in no way apologized for the confusion or tried to make it up. Over $5 this store in THIS exclusive location, decided to leave a bad impression of anything Crate & Barrel related."

"Got a pasta maker as a gift. Tried using it, didn't work well. Not a scratch on the appliance, original box and packaging. Tried to exchange while within return period for something substantially more expensive but they wouldn't accept it. They said "it's like when you eat a piece of apple pie, you can't give back the rest". Manager was not helpful either. She said "I can't let u return this even if you buy a whole kitchen set." I'll sell the pasta maker myself and buy the expensive stand mixer at Target or another store. I suggest others do the same."

"I barely tolerate shopping, but entering this palatial store diminished all the stress I was feeling about Christmas shopping. It is simply beautiful, no wait, elegant. I didn’t feel overwhelmed like I wanted to buy everything, in fact I only bought a few gifts. Mary Jane, known as MJ, was very helpful and offered gift suggestions and just a nice person and was one of the reasons my shopping buddy and I felt so welcome in this store and wished we could have avoided that overwhelming mall."

"Great Crate and barrel store. The staff was helpful and the place had huge collection of decorations, chairs and kitchen appliances. (New addition)Amazing is the word. They have a huge collection of home furnishings with very helpful staff. The only negative is they don’t have good collection of kitchen gadgets like rice cookers etc. they had ooni pizza oven on display for which I went, the staff member explained me every feature of the oven and more. Keep up the good work."

"Exceptional service and great designs. Staffs are friendly and will help you all the way to the pick up area if your have too much to carry. So much to choose from. I have a lot of pieces from their collection and never had a problem with the quality. Even the huge online purchases, they call before your delivery date and when there’s a problem the customer service are always ready to help to resolved the issues."
