"This place has really great food consistently. We make a point of coming here almost every time we're in the area. Burgers and empanadas are unreal. I've had a couple of the soups which were great too. Really nice owner or manager (not sure which) and very fair pricing. Couple beers and food for a family of four for under $50. Good luck doing that in many places these days!"

"We were looking for somewhere to grab dinner while traveling. Wife found Star online and it looked like a good spot. Please don’t take this the wrong way; the onion rings were VERY GOOD, and that was the worst part of our meal. Buffalo wings were awesome (but get there early because we heard they sell out quickly). Our burgers were great, and the sweet potato fries were the best we’ve ever had. Our waitress/bartender was very attentive but not overbearing. It’s definitely a “locals” kinda place, but travelers (like us) are made to feel like locals."

"The food was absolutely fantastic! In house made empanadas...incredible. Classic cheeseburger was cooked perfectly, came with choice of onion rings or fries. Also a little cup of the best potato salad I've ever eaten. Next time I visit upstate N.Y. from San Francisco I am coming back!!!"

"We are staying in the area in an air b&b cabin. We saw the positive reviews on yelp, however, we couldn't find an updated menu online. We called the restaurant & an employee sent us a picture of the updated menu. I urge management to post a menu on your website or Facebook. I would also recommend a light sign for the restaurant, as it's hard to find. I had the honey dipped fried chicken, and she had a burger and Buffalo mac. I can honestly say that it was the best fried chicken I have had in my life. They must marinate the chicken before they fry it, it was so tasty. I also grabbed a few local cans of brew to go. All items were packaged nicely for takeout. The food is amazing!!!!"
