"It is helpful to read the reviews here from folks who have had varied experiences good and bad on our trails. We are always working hard to improve signage, control motorized vehicle usage, and create and maintain relationships with folks who have adjacent property, as well as property owners who let us use their trails."

"A friend an I hiked from Parker Road to near Mayville on 7/17/22. The farm gate was closed but there was an obvious walk- around. When we returned to our car there was a note on the windshield saying we had trespassed and that our license had been recorded. It was signed by the property owners (Parker). The trail from Parker to Quilliam has been shut down also and is more clearly marked. There were posted signs but we didn't notice them as we were very used to hiking that section in the past. Too bad, it's a lovely section. Perhaps owners experienced issues with the public as the trail head is very near their home."

"The distance (2 miles) I walked was paved in the town of Mayville NY. Appears to be well marked with picnic tables along the trail to rest/enjoy food."

"Started at the large parking lot in Mayville, across the street from the Lakeview Hotel, and went to Brocton (Ellicott Rd). The trail is very scenic, goes through forests and farm lands. The trail is mowed, and easy to follow, but there are some wet and bumpy sections. There was a portion that had a closed gate, but just went around the gate, don't know if the gate was to keep ATV's etc. off the trail."
