"I have learned that when salons put “and up” after a price, it really matters more than the price listed. That seems to never be the case. My wash and silk press was almost double what was listed due to arbitrary add ons that were not discussed with me or even brought up. Imagine going through the whole process thinking your style is going to be $75 and you’re told $120! I was able to get the new client discount but even then that’s more than I have ever paid for a silk press. It would be more worth it if they weren’t so aggressive with washing my hair and also not detangling in the slightest. Also working in too large of sections when blow drying and probably not spraying enough heat protectant/anti humidity spray. This may just be my first and last visit. Not the worst but definitely could have been better no doubt. It just feels like they rush to get you done fast rather than make sure the hair they are doing stays on your head."

"I was really hoping to have a good experience at this salon (given the positive reviews) however I wanted to warn anyone thinking of going here since I was overcharged for a very simple service that shouldn't have cost what I was charged. I came in for a wash and trim ONLY (no flat iron or style) and ended up being told that service costs $75 once I was done. I didn't think I needed to ask/confirm prices when I arrived since I had viewed their prices on their website prior to calling and setting my appointment. When I handed the woman my credit card (even though I didn't agree with the charge), she stated that she would be adding an additional $2 because I was using a card. I still also left a $10 tip on top of that and just decided it wasn't worth arguing about. I knew I had seen on their website that a wash/blow dry AND flat iron was listed at $55 so I asked her what would my charge had been if I decided to add the flat iron (just to see what she'd say). She stated that it would have been $125. My hair is shoulder length, not super long so I was struggling to understand why I would be charged DOUBLE what their website says but I just decided again to not argue it. Unfortunately, I won't be returning."
