"Excellent food and very friendly staff. The food ACTUALLY matches the menu. The chicken chimichanga was fantastic. Refried beans are very good, too, with a hit of BBQ sauce in them (very nice touch). The owner even gave us a tour of his SPOTLESS kitchen."

"Well where do I start. You can’t order water because it tastes so bad, the horchata is the worst I’ve had it tastes like the lake water. My son ordered chicken it was so dry came with a side of rice and tortillas. My husband ordered the Chile relleno. He had to send it back since it was still cold came with a side of rice and beans and tortillas. 4 small tiny tortillas. We ordered a table side guacamole with one avocado and one jalapeño some tomatoes and onion. That was pretty good $9.99. I had the taquitos with lettuce and avocado They were the smallest taquitos I’ve ever had came with rice and beans. The beans were good the rice was awful I couldn’t even eat it. I will say you don’t get chips and salsa delivered to the table you only get chips when you ask for them with the guacamole. If that wasn’t bad enough you get charged $2.50 for the little bowl of salsa, we were not offered the free salsa just the one that $2.50. I won’t be back that’s for sure."

"**Updated because I have time now to write an actual review** El Molcajete Moya (molcajete translates to motar and pestle, used in Mexican cuisine for making spices and chiles) Stopped by the El Molcajete Moya last-night because they have AMAZING tortas. If you have never enjoyed a torta and want to try an authentic one, go here! It’s essentially a sandwich with soft toasted bread, beans, avocado, tomato, lettuce, and a little bit of creama (which is very similar to mayo). The flavor on these are the best! The staff is extremely welcoming. Service is excellent and these folks want you to be here and are ABOUT THE FOOD. The owner will come by and tell you that making sure your food good is his priority. Did I mention they serve authentic Mexican bottled brew? I had my torta with a Victoria lager (one of my favorites) I added a photo of their Taco THURSDAY special. I didn’t try the tacos, but the place was happening and people were crushing them (it was Thursday night). Anyway check this place out. It’s a sleeper for sure!"

"Stopped in this place and realized they were closing in a little over 15 minutes. We were just going to order to go food, but they were super kind and welcoming. The food was amazing! Honestly, we were a little surprised at how good it was. We are from Texas and not used to these finding flavors so far north. So good! The table side guacamole was very tasty and made to order. Would definitely recommend!"
