"I made a review and the owner commented back that i was charged $270 for a highlight and cut WHEN I WAD CHARGED $440 IN TOTAL. $350 for highlights and $90 for a haircut. Do not believe the owners response. I called multiple times about being charged this much and asked why when they told me my total. I would not mind but they say if you have a pixie cut or long hair down your back the charge for highlights is the same. They should be upfront about this. I shouldn’t be charged $350 for highlights when I have a pixie cut and only partial highlights. It’s a scam. ASK ABOUT THE PRICE BEFOREHAND."
"Went in for a balayage and had the worst experience of my life. Completely ruined my hair. Told me it would take 3 hours and I was there for over 6. I asked for a grey balayage but had told her I understood if I didn’t look exactly like my inspo pics but I came out with botched bleached gold, blonde, pink and brown hair no grey at all. They did not give me a refund or even a partial refund. Do yourself a favor and go to the Bethesda salon where all the good stylists from Hugo went to work. Do not waste your money here. Attached is what I got vs what I asked for..."
"Great service however there is a 15 percent charge of your total bill for covid 19 ppe... this should be indicated upfront to the customer...prices on site are just starting prices and it depends on your stylist..they charge differently. Either way, if you have a set budget or not ...its nice to know what you are going to pay.. I prefer to know in advance. Based upon this I may or may not return...not sure yet, pricey so if you have it make sure you do. ...But my stylist was great."
