"Decided to try this food truck for lunch. Though it was FREEZING cold outside it was 100% worth it. The customer service was great, the food had so much flavor and good portions. I bought a chicken cheesesteak and a cheesesteak for my coworker and me and we were very surprised by how great it tasted. We went at lunch time so it was kind of busy. But they moved quickly and got our food out to us. I will definitely be returning!"
"I have been a customer of Jeno's for many years. I visited Sunday and was very disappointed. I'm talking Wawa and Roy Rogers cheesesteak quality. No other customers waiting, yet It took 15 minutes to get my order. Fries were not fresh. No salt. I asked for salt and the young man have me a shaker that had the salt in clumps from being exposed to moisture. I knew I wasn't going to have a good sandwich when I opened the wrapping and there was a puddle of grease in the bottom. Everyone knows the foundation of a good sandwich is the bread. The quality of the roll is not on question, but it was soaked with grease so badly it was like I had dunked it in liquid. Needless to say, it didn't stay in my system long. I think you need to revisit and retrain on the basics and go back to what got you here and not a bunch of fantasy sandwiches."
"We ordered a chicken cheese steak and maybe that's where we went wrong. There were huge chunks of chicken pieces on the sub instead of being finely diced as expected. Also, the chicken had NO seasoning and tasted quite bland. Last, we asked for for ketchup and mayo on our sandwich and there was barely any added resulting in a tasteless sub. Fries were also just ok....similar to Five Guys, but not as flavorful. Maybe we have a better experience if we ordered a regular cheese steak."
"Jeno’s Steaks is definitely one of my favorite cheesesteaks spots in Maryland. This is a must try if you are in Maryland. The cheese steak I picked up is the muddy paw."
