"I received Senegalese twist a few months back and I loved them! The spot however was not the easiest to find then when I finally got into the shop both stylist looked at me like I had two heads. What happen to decent greeting “Hi welcome to...” they both literally just looked at me and said nothing. I had never been there before and the girl doing my hair looked nothing like her ig profile pic. Also the owner/ stylist and her assistant it almost seemed went out there way to only talk to each while doing my hair even when I attempted to make small talk with them. Just a recommendation work on the basic things such as greeting customers when they walk in the door. Also just being cordial and friendly jeeze. There is so many other people that have talent as this place if not better that customers can spend their money with. People remember small things such as a hello vs just staring at them that is so rude."

"I had an AMAZING experience at Forever Beauty! It was my first time getting braids as an adult and the service was stellar. Takia and the staff were extremely pleasant and professional. The scheduling was a breeze and I was able to pay via Square (always a plus when you don't have to carry cash). She gave her professional opinion on what style I should get and I felt very comfortable with her expert opinion. The best thing was it only took 3 hours (in and out in a flash)! "I have been bringing my daughter for a few months. It’s always been ok but this time I will not be returning. Amajah did her hair. The stylists had Orange is the New Black on the television. The profanity and content was not appropriate for my 12 year old. Her style lasted 2 days. These stylists just do the style you request which may not be suitable for your hair or hair texture. They don’t suggest or deny that this may not be a conducive style for you. Very unprofessional. Even when you take your car to be serviced they asscess your car prior to service. As a stylists myself doing my clients I don’t take a risk to do a style that will not look good on my client. You want your client to leave happy and feel good. Getting your hair done should be a good experience. My daughter felt horrible she hated her hair and felt uncomfortable with the environment. Not going back. EVER!"

"I have been a client of Takia’s for about two years now. To date, I have never had a bad experience with her. I always leave the salon with a gorgeous style and constantly get compliments. The salon is always bright and clean. I especially appreciate that the capes are always clean. I have been to a salon where the cape smelled sour. But you’ll never have to worry about that here. Lastly, I always have a ton of questions, and Takia is always patient and honest. The ladies that work here are super friendly and makes the experience so comfortable.
