"Hard Yacht Cafe is literally a hidden gem. And why wouldn't it be? Located beside a small boat harbor, where you get to have your meal sitting beside the waterways, and the portion they provide is very generous. The hosts are very welcoming! Additionally, coffee is free! And no issues with parking, they have adequate spaces just outside the restaurant! Highly recommended!"

"Best crab soup ever! I had the half and half. We also had tuna tacos and they were delicious! Love the fun atmosphere during the holiday season. Wonderful band playing golden oldies. Not too loud."

"October 2022, not too busy on a Saturday morning. Brunch has served until 11:45. Dad had shrimp and crab omelet which you raved about and I had the breakfast bowl which was pretty good except I was expecting scrambled eggs mixed in instead of just like an omelet egg late on top of the other ingredients. I ask them to hold the bacon and give me scrapple instead and it was quite good. Sausage gravy on the side was a good call, the sausage was good in the gravy but gravy itself is a little sweet southern style which is not my thing. Shrimp salad sandwich (pic) was real good. But hard to keep the shrimp from falling out. Cajun Shrimp Stir Fry (2023 summer special) over rice was fantastic. Oozing with butter tho, so don't order it every time! Next visit I had seared tuna bites I asked for raw in the middle and it was perfectly cooked. Nice seasoning on the outside. Good char grill flavor. Vegetarian wife got their new buffalo cauliflower wrap and she liked it. We shared the Apple crumble pie. We were surprised that it was cold in the middle as if it had just been taken out of the fridge. We asked them to heat it up and they did much improved. Still kind of strange that they're serving apple crumble pie cold."

"If you are tired of a "crispy" look and atmosphere, then put your shorts, flip flops and t-shirt on, and look no further than Hard Yacht Cafe located in Dundalk, MD. From outside it seems to be very tiny, but when you get in and really discover it, you would be surprised. The restaurant has a second floor, a lateral hall downstairs, and a cute terrace with umbrellas. Panoramic view of the bay and the marina, live music during the week, two well equipped bars, a friendly, quick, and helpful staff, and of couse delicious food. There are wooden beach chairs outdoors by the marina, so one can grab just a drink and enjoy the view and a lively conversation. The fried pickles, battered cauliflowers with garlic, and french fries as a side are some MUST appetizers. You cannot go wrong with the mussels in white wine sauce, tacos, Chicken Cesar Wrap, and the crab cakes. However, every dish is delicious, and worthwhile. The prices are more than reasonable. We have had a wonderful time to Hard Yacht Cafe any time we have been there. That's why I would like to give credit where credit is due."

"Don’t get seated in front of the live music if you want to hear the other people at your table. Otherwise, this place makes for the perfect waterside dining experience! You’ll want to try the pound of steamed shrimp served with sautéed onions and potatoes. Both the crab dip and shrimp are impeccably seasoned. The bread served alongside the crab dip was soft, light, airy, and delightful. We found the calamari a little heavy on the breading; however, it was still tender. The waitstaff helped make my friend’s birthday memorable by placing a candle in her cheesecake. The table service here was flawless. I’d give this restaurant five stars if our table hadn’t been parked next to the live band."
