"I haven’t eaten there yet , but the Bar tender is amazing . Great atmosphere and I want to come back and eat because they all say the food is excellent. I want to come back on a karaoke Sunday some day."

"Lousy food and high prices I grew up in Dundalk and the Poplar Inn was always the place to go. Went there two days ago , Sunday October 1st, and ordered the seafood salad. Now this place was famous for their shrimp salad so I expected the same positive experience. Awful !!! It was like mush and I thought about sending it back but had no idea what they would bring out the next time. The food quality was no where near the prices which were ridiculous. I have to think that what happened here was that those acquiring the establishment decided to make a quick killing by lowering quality and raising prices. Sorry to see that. Big mistake in the long run. My advice? Don't go there for food, it's just a bar now."

"We haven't been here since it was the Poplar Inn and decided to stop in for lunch. Very clean and relaxing establishment. My husband ordered the Seafood Club with fries and said it was delicious. The sandwich was huge and he couldn't even finish it. I ordered the Shrimp Gondola appetizer that was very tasty and perfectly seasoned. Elaine was our server and was wonderful. We will definitely go back."

"Hubs & I had a late lunch, early dinner at The old Poplar Restaurant, now called The Place. They have recently improved everything! The restaurant decor is new, comfortable booths with a warm atmosphere; no more too loud music from the bar side; still has a private large group room that’s separate. Totally new excellent menu. Elaine was a familiar face, still the restaurant manager & will be there most afternoons. We will be going back as our food was fantastic! Thought I’d share. Decor, our food & menu below. — at The Place."

"Went for lunch after not going for a few years. I was amazed at the upgrades to the place. Very welcoming and upbeat. The menu is varied and priced reasonably. I had the Reuben. It was cooked perfectly, not too greasy, and the different ingredients were perfectly balanced. This is definitely on the list next time I want to watch the Ravens pull a win out of thin air. Elaine was attentive with us without being overbearing. You’ll have a lovely time here."
