"We love this place! It's classy and fancy feeling, but without being stuffy. The cost is on the higher end, but you are absolutely getting food and service worth the money - and if you order smaller plates to share, it's very reasonable! You order using a QR code through your phone, and can order as a group at your table each from their own phone - either paying as a whole table or separate checks from each phone's orders (or some can pay separate and then one phone pay any remaining tab). I love that system and think it works well. We came to celebrate our anniversary and it was the perfect spot for a special meal together. Feels like a family atmosphere - the folks who run this place clearly fill it with love, care, and intentionality."

"Jesus, Joseph and Mary are in the kitchen. Whew. This has been on my list since it opened and I was so excited to go yesterday, that I walked in RIGHT after the open sign was flipped. My friend and I had a reservation for 4 and were gleefully seated by the wonderful hostess. Loved the fact that the table had a mini chalkboard with my name for the resy. The inside is super cute with a wall of family photos which added a nice familial and cozy touch. It's BYOB so you can bring your bottles. However, once we tried the Soursop Lemonade we knew that would be all we needed. It's delicious and refreshing. On to the food! My friend got the short rib over mashed potatoes with the broccoli as a side. The broccoli was yummy and they REALLY enjoyed the short rib - saying it was cooked perfectly and flavorful. I got the chicken with the black garlic sauce, a side of collard greens and a side of mac and cheese. Not usually a fan of rosemary but that chicken was cooked so well, I did not care. That sauce was delicious so it made it even better. Sides were good but those greens were amazing. They are about to be sick of me and my visits. I'll definitely be back soon to spend time with my new friends who don't know we're friends yet. Ha! Loved it and so happy to have it nearby! Tip: They're cashless."

"First time and it won't be the last. Rooted Rotisserie is a hidden gem. Charming, classy, and welcoming. Everything from small plates, entrees, and desserts were seasoned to perfection without overwhelming the palate. The atmosphere was homey as if visiting friends for a delicious home-cooked. The service was impeccable. The servers were all attentive and prompt with bringing the orders. And everyone, including the chef who came out to see how you're doing, were all welcoming. Highly recommended!"

"We made our first visit today, and it was absolutely delicious. Service was superb, and everything we ate was delicious. We got a half rotisserie chicken, salmon meunière, Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, smoked trout toast, and strawberry shortcake pound cake. This was probably a little bit too much food for 2 people, but it was so good that we finished it all. It sounded like some of their menu items are always there, but others switch around, which I love. The menu is nicely balanced and presents options for many preferences without being overwhelming, and it was very evident that extreme care is taken in choosing ingredients and executing the dishes. Additionally, the space itself is welcoming and very cute, with a great assortment of the owners' family photos and archival photos of Baltimore. They're only in their 4th week open, but they have a clearly defined identity and dishes came out very quickly for us tonight. A really excellent dinner out and we can't wait to go back. They are currently BYO beer/wine as well."
