"It is certainly a good-looking pit beef sandwich when it comes out. The tiger sauce is some of the best in the area, and I'm glad they have a condiment bar where you fix the sandwich yourself. The French fries were solid. However, the pit beef sandwich had pieces that were either fatty or stringy. This made it difficult to enjoy the sandwich. One good thing was that the bun was big and hearty, and didn't break up in your hand as you were eating your sandwich. This is a common problem with other pit beef restaurants/stands."
"Says new owners but honestly nothing is different, food is mediocre at best. BBQ sauce is just rebottled sweet baby rays, corn bread isn’t freshly baked and stale left on the front counter, quality for the price is way too expensive."
"If you really have your heart set on pit beef then this is not the place. My sandwich was cold the bun was cold and dry. My son ordered the Mac and cheese and it had no flavor at all, it wasn't even cheesy. The only thing that was enjoyable was the fries. Oh yeah the cornbread was nasty as well. This was a big disappointment. I will never ever go back again. Dont waste your money here trust me. The only thing I would buy is a bottled Pepsi. $30 was a waste of money and time."
"Pit turkey was very good, but the fries came out a little soggy. I was annoyed though, as my takeout order was missing multiple items. I thought it felt a little light, but was told that that was everything when I picked it up. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE LEAVING. It's very annoying driving home to find missing items."
