Bowley's on the Bay

"I seen a review on IG and decided to give it a try. We arrived around 3 and the place was empty. It appeared that a staffer or family of the owner was having a social gathering with a young baby. Our waitress went from waitressing to social gathering when she wasn’t servicing up. She was nice and friendly, but got caught in the social gathering that we had to wait for our check. Let me get to the most important part the food. The cream of crab soup was ok, but contained too much old bay (salty). The burger and the jerk wings were ok. My husband ordered a Cubano that didn’t look good, but he said was ok, and the tuna bites were ok. For everything to be just ok, I don’t need to return."

"A hidden gem located on the bay. Food was mediocre. Crab cake was served cold. Drinks watered down. The service was great. Optinal dine in or outside. Advice: Bring bug spray. We were attacked by bees. Could not enjoy food sitting oustide."

"What an awesome Maryland find. I felt like I was in the Islands. I came here with a group I had never heard of this place. Absolutely beautiful restaurant beach vibe. Outside seating to die for!!!! The mussels were huge and the sauce was thick creamy and flavorful. Spicy Chicken sandwich was so crispy and perfectly cooked with a sauce that added a kick. I absolutely love this place."

"Entrees were quite well, both on trade for well-spiced well presented, side dishes we're not quite the same asparagus two large and Woody pita bread with cold and without a pocket. We are senior citizens. Senior seldom drink out of a can beer and hard Caribou that glass even. We came out last Saturday and will never do that again inside was a roar and overly crowded. Though we were advised and founded there's a large outside next to the water quite charming. There we did have to we arrived at 4 p.m. we had to wait a little over an hour should be seated. We were quite surprised by the now this is a restaurant on the we assumed there would be more seafood dishes to choose. There was there was a comprehensive I've always strange concoctions from the bar all sorts of exotic expensive rings. Dirty with very little of wine by the glass also no menu of beers at all so we just guessed. Now I understand that they were tremendously busy but they had no place for people who were waiting to stand or sit down so they were milling around but people that were trying to enjoy their evening and of course complaining because their their place in line waiting for a seat No reservations e. They said do I would have hated to be seated inside the noisy interior. The interior decor the the hard surfaces and lack of made it almost just a noisy bar room atmosphere. we enjoy your food but I think I go back it'll have to be a nice day during the week enjoy if you can"

"Probably the nicest waterfront place for food and drinks. A nice beach, they even have a pool. Service was excellent, we were there on a busy Sunday for lunch, got a table quickly, and food and drinks were fast. The Amazing Cauliflower is really good, the salmon salads and shrimp salad also very good. The had all-day happy and $6 crushes, pretty good. Tiki Lee’s and Sunset Cove are louder and a little more bar focused. Great views, you can watch small planes and jets approach the airport (not loud) and lots of boats, kayaks, and paddle boards around. The best all-around waterfront place in the area for sure."
