"Wow! My husband and I went here today after many people highly recommended it. I have to say, we were completely and totally pleasantly surprised. When we first walked in, we were ever so kindly greeted by Mr. Brooks. During our entire visit, he went above and beyond to.make sure that we were happy, comfortable, and totally satisfied. We ordered the Curry chicken with collard greens and macaroni and cheese and curry goat with potato salad and greens. We also had the opportunity to try the warm sweet cornbread which was out of this world!!! So delicious, it tasted like a dessert. While Mr. Brooks talked with us, we decided to try the Mama Jazzy's wings, they were phenomenal. Crispy fried wings tossed in a delicious sauce of the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. Mr. Brooks was so kind yet professional. He even gave us complimentary drinks of lemonade, sweet tea, and fruit punch mixed, (triple mix) which was delicious! We would definitely HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, and will definitely be returning in the future. We are so glad we tried Dakari's. Keep up the outstanding work!!!!! It was such a pleasure to visit there today."
"The food is amazing! Fried chicken with mac and cheese and collard greens. Everything was so good! Robert the owner is so nice. Brought us a plate of the best cornbread I’ve ever had while we waited for our food. I will definitely be back. Check it out, you will not be disappointed."
"Had the opportunity to give them a try at the Waterfront Festival yesterday .. So glad they were there and I was able to eat a real meal !! The salmon was cooked to perfection, so flavorful !!! The mac n cheese was different then I’m use to but in a great way !!!!! Im all for supporting local businesses and they deserve everyone trying them out . Cant beat great friendly service and a darn good meal !!!! I will definitely stop into their actual restaurant the next time I drive down from Jersey .."
"This is a great spot to get some delicious soul food. They also have some caribbean dishes like the brown stew chicken that is so flavorful. One of my favorites is the momma jazzy wings. Oh and the cornbread melts in your mouth! If you are in the area you should definitely check it out."
