"Best place to eat in Essex! Great atmosphere and the food is amazing! Service exceptional! Super fast too! Very clean! All around enjoyable experience every time I’ve been here. Honestly I never thought a nice upscale restaurant like this would last in Essex, but it not only has lasted but is thriving! Not to mention that everyone I’ve ever spoken to about this place has had great things to say, I’m so pleased that Essex finally has a great restaurant in the neighborhood!!!"

"Tried Buon Appetito for the first time with my partner. It started out very good. Our waiter John was amazing. The mozzarella sticks were really good. My partners burger and fries were really good, however the pizza I had was not good at all. It was very bland and had no flavor. I’ve seen another post that says it tastes like cardboard; I think that sums up the pizza well. The cheesecake, very good, however the menu states a “Tall slice” and it was very small. I hope that they are able to revamp their pizza or remove it from their menu. It needs a lot of work. Overall, we’re giving 3 stars. We will be back to try again in the future. Update: We went back and tried other food, it was delicious."

"It was my birthday and after I finished my food they brought out a piece of cake with candles and the whole restaurant started singing happy birthday. Completely unexpected. The atmosphere here is great, the food is great, and the service is especially great. Aside from our assigned waitress, there were like 3 or 4 waiters stopping by our table to check on us, and we're not even their assigned table. They really go the extra mile to make sure everyone is taken care of. Best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Highly recommended."

"An intimate little restaurant. Good selection of draft beers. The menu, I thought, was not as Italian as most places. The food was ok, not great. The portions can best be described as being on the chintzy side. I thought we had made a nice find, but I think we will pass this place by the next time."

"This is a hidden gem in assets everything is super good here and you would not expect it from the areas. By just seeing it on the road you wouldn't think that this is an Italian gourmet restaurant. The chef is extremely well diverse and always puts fantastic spins on everything. The flavors are on point. This is Definitely a place I would take someone on a date night without breaking the bank. As for entertainment Surprisingly has a nice setup outback good for parties and bands."
