"Do not get sat with Penny. She is a grumpy woman who shows no empathy for anyone at your table. We went in because we needed to eat as a big party— we were at my grandmas viewing after her sudden death, we told her and the owner that. We told them we needed to be out sooner than later. Penny, the waitress was rude, and impatient and had the audacity to try to talk down to me when I asked about just putting food in boxes instead of plating them because we were worried about time. One server was just watching and drinking beer on the clock. Food was delicious, service sucks."
"Brought my honey here for a treat after he worked very hard for us that day. A little busy that evening (last Saturday) as the waitress worked our table she did two others. The other waitress seemed to be working the larger tables. We ordered drinks, apps and meals (off the specials menu). Got drinks, apps, and salad that came with one meal. A table of 14 was seated after we ordered. The two other tables the waitress was working with ours got their meals and had finished eating. The waitress said she put our order in. The table of 14 got apps, salad and meals. After being there for 1.5 hours and NO MEAL, I asked for the check. Very disappointed with the menu and the service. Seemed like the kitchen and waitress were not synced. Very embarrassed as this was to be a nice special meal date with my honey, and we got NO MEALS!!"
"Don't be put off by the outer appearance. This place is a gem. Amazing crab cakes, huge selection of beer, and an awesome waitstaff. The atmosphere is very "country saloon" meets "hole in the wall diner". It is a very charming little place!"
"I did a call in order for a crab cake sandwich and egg rolls.. The egg rolls were dry and gross, the ranch that went with it was extremely watery. The crab cake sandwich had no seasoning or sauce so I had to come home and stir up a sauce + add seasoning. This is definitely the place to go if you want to drink to a point where you don’t realize how bland the food you consuming is. I only ordered in because I was craving a crab cake sandwich after work."
"The food was decent,and the food was very reasonably priced.However the reason this gets 4 stars is because whenever I get crab cakes from there their crab cakes have 4-8 tiny crab shell pieces inside which does not happen at other restaurants.But other than that I don’t see any issues with this place."
