Applebee's Grill + Bar

"Perhaps when a nicely dressed older woman enters your establishment by herself, you think your tip might be skimpy. Think again. I was a waitress once upon a time, I know how much you count on them. If the service is good, I never tip below 25-30%! However, when you do get to my table, barely mutter, “Can I get you drink?”, and then wander the restaurant aimlessly (I watched you) for a good 10 minutes, it’s time for me to go! And I was so looking forward to ordering some lovely appetizers with my meal too! So I got up, and walked out. Not one employee even noticed, or even said, “Have a nice day!” Probably still wandering around thinking about that drink I ordered 20 minutes ago. This is the place to go if you want to feel invisible!! I’ll take myself & money elsewhere. Do better."

"Cons-The chicken strip for my mom were made of rubber I believe, food took over an hour to come out after ordering, then waiters brought out food at least 4 times for us that was actually for other customers over the 2 hours we were there. The restrooms were to filthy to utilize. My 7yo daughters pizza was not actually cooked and tasted horrible. Like raw dough with cheese and sauce just microwaved and not baked. Employees had their infant children in theirs arms while working and bar tending. Pros-my food was tasty but only mine. Our waitress was very nice"

"My friend and I enjoyed a l-o-n-g lunch a few days ago at Applebee's in Frederick, Md. Since we are only able to get together once or twice a year, it takes time to catch up with sharing. Our waiter "Ethan" was wonderful! There was no rushing us, and he was very accommodating to our needs and desires. We chose the 2 for $30 entrees. And of course, we had to end our meal with that luscious chocolate, gooey, lava cake. Oh my. Such a treat!!"

"Everything about this restaurant was great. The place was clean and smelled good. The staff and greeter were very nice. Our waiters were awesome, the staff also worked as a team in bringing and cleaning up our food. The atmosphere, food and most of the drinks were great. The bartenders knew their mixology and it showed in the drinks. Great place to hang out, chill or go out on a date."

"The staff was friendly. We didn’t have a long wait. My wife and I had the Quesadilla Burger and it was mediocre. The tortilla was not soft, the ingredients were bland and lacked flavor. It had bacon on it and I couldn’t taste it at all. The burger was decent. Not their best menu item at that location."
