"This is probably a very beautiful park but we made the mistake of going on a 90 degree day in summer. Don't do that. Also, that yellow trail? Basically a steep, straight up climb from the parking lot. And I mean straight up. And then straight back down. To a bridge over a creek that is guarded by angry bees who really don't want you on their bridge. To get away, you have to go BACK UP that steep straight trail and back down, covered in bee stings this time. Saw some ghost pipes, though. Can't say it was worth it. Wishing you better luck. Stay off the bridge."
"This park has several forested trails on its more than 360 acres of land. The small parking lot limits the number of hikers... meaning you are likely to have it to yourself."
