"We travel with our dog, so we look for places where she can get a little energy out. It is ridiculous to have a dog park off-limits to "outsiders." Even the people there with their dogs were apologetic about it, saying that they'll get kicked out if they allow someone in that hasn't paid. As for the park itself, it is basically under-equipped compared to most other dog parks in the country. It's just grass surrounded by a locked fence, not much else. Maybe a bench? What does this fee get you? Really disappointed. So, we just trotted around the outside of the park, and I kind of think our greyhound enjoyed that just as much. Too bad."
"It is so smart to allow folks to try out the park to see if it is for them before they sign up their dogs. My big old poodle, Blake, loved it and so did I. Thanks to all who worked so tirelessly to make the park happen. I think the idea of a fee to join is excellent. Not only will dogs be identified and those breaking the rules ousted but also folks can help remind one another that they must clean up after their dogs. That is something that is not happening at the moment. So glad that problem will be fixed with dog identification. The park is beautiful, perfect and such a great idea! Thanks to all who made it happen. Thanks to those who brought in non aggressive, friendly dogs. What fun."
