"Nice place for a day hike. If you hike down to the river there is a cool railroad tunnel that can approach easily. Just be careful with littles as you can climb right above it and it's quite a drop. Honor system box (cash only) for entry fees. $2 per car on the day we went in Decmeber."
"Amazing place to hike or enjoy the river. The trail leading here is very steep but well worth the walk."
"The trail wasn't easy, but it is pretty short. There's a steep part in the middle of the trail. The signs are weathered and need updating, but the view is great! Unfortunately a lot of litter from the pike."
"It was clean for the most part. People there were nice and friendly. Wasn't super crowded for a really hot day either. Water was clean for a river. There was a snake but not poisonous and very tiny in the water but it is nature. Some people brought their dogs but they did keep them leashed for the most part. The park has tables to use for free and pavilions to rent for $13 so if you wanna make a day of it, there's grills and all and a short but hilly walk to the water."
"Came here with my family in the spare moment. Kids got to play on the sand and splash some fun. Only down side is that people don't pick up their own trash, so you will find broken glass and trash everywhere."
