"We were the only ones there on a Friday afternoon in mid October. The trail is very flat and follows the river which made for a very nice walk (not really a hike). I think it might even be ok for those in a wheelchair if the trail was dry. Easy parking too."
"Great out-and-back nature trail extending 5 miles in one direction, or 10 miles round trip. The path is very well cleared and mostly flat making it an easy hike/walk. There are great views of the river along the path, these pictures are from August and the river was calm."
"We walked about half of this trail along the river. Once you get past the overpasses it is really nice. We found it an easy walk. You're right by the water for much of the time, and can easily find a way down to a bank. The river is beautiful."
