Gionino's Pizzeria

"I always had a good experience with this place except for phone etiquette. Their phone etiquette sucks. Food is good but they think that it is the greatest, it's not. The establishment has 20 something people running the business without an on site manager. The 20 somethings think that they know everything about business, they don't. I had 2 complaints about services and they decided that they would not serve me any longer. They are NOT the only pizza place in Austintown and they are NOT the best."

"I didn’t think I would have to write a review for Gionino’s but I am going to. I don’t know about the atmosphere I have never been inside. This is the place we get pizza. We get pizza once a month at the Austintown location. Having worked in food service as a short order cook, a line cook, a bartender, and the person who takes orders over the phone and has to estimate the time based on whoever is cooking and on how many orders I take. Gionino’s has never disappointed. I have a bit of a drive home because we don’t live near Austintown and that is our closest location. I’ve never had a salad from there but the cauliflower pizza and pizza and their potato wedge are excellent and my mother really enjoyed their sub. Maybe they are nice to my husband because he has a beard I don’t know but he says the staff is cool. We have never had a bad experience or subpar order."

"Surprisingly good pizza! I'm a bit wary of franchised pizza places, as they often seem to be hit or miss, but this place was definitely a hit. I've ordered from them a few times and have never been disappointed. They are for sure better than any of the big national chains. I'd recommend giving them a try!"

"The food is good but it is never ready when they tell me it will be. The pizza is always ready and sitting around while the wings are still cooking. I regularly end up getting home with hot wings and cold pizza."

"Usually they are good however on Oct 5, 2023: Called at 4:30 and placed order for a pizza and an antipasto salad With Ranch dressing was told 25-30 minutes since I live close I left 20 minutes later - upon arrival my pizza was already under the lights and salad was not prepared I was told it would be ready in 3 minutes. Another customer came in had to wait for his pizzas and I was still waiting, my pizza is still under the lights. Finally they come out and say they don't have any ranch dressing. I said just give me the salad so after waiting all that time I am back on the road at 5:11. Is the grease on the bottom of the pizza from sitting under the lights for a prolonged period of time? The one in Bedford, Ohio was even greasier. People, grease does not equal goodness."
