"Friday morning Dr called in oxycodone for my daughter. Went to pick up Friday afternoon and was told would not be ready until Monday afternoon. I had to reach doctor on call to have her cancel it and reorder it somewhere else. Giant eagle should have let doctor know they couldn't get it for three days or at the very least called me as I was scrambling to get it filled for my daughter who had surgery. I spoke with the pharmacy manager and she told me they never call the doctor. Hopefully you can get a better plan in place for the next patient who needs pain medication. Very very disappointed with this service."
