"I'm a picky patient, with a track record to prove it. If I'm not happy with my dentist, I leave them, period. For a while, I wasn't I was ever going to settle on a DC dentist. However, Maureen Rastegari's dental practice is exactly what I had been looking for. She is, professional, candid and will bend over backwards to accommodate her client's busy DC schedules (e.g. coming in on a day-off or facilitating an impromptu back to back appointment to get additional dental work done). My praise does not end here, this practice boasts what might very well be the best dental hygienist in the DMV: Lori. Lori is a pure joy to spend time with, making every dental visit feel more like a "coming home" rather than an unpleasant appointment. The front desk assistant, Susie, is also exceptional; ready to serve as your advocate and chief when dealing with dental insurance companies, and is otherwise incredibly attentive to customer service needs."

"I’ve been going to Dr. Rastegari’s office for two years now, ever since Lori, my hygienist of many years, started working there. I knew that if Dr. Rastegari’s office met Lori’s standards, it would be good enough for me, so all the wonderful aspects have come as no surprise. Dr. Rastegari has a kind, gentle manner, explains the state of my mouth in easy to understand terms, and I never feel like she is trying to push me into making a decision. Lori has been my hygienist since the Clinton days, so despite her probably knowing my teeth and gums like the back of her hand at this point, it never feels like she is on autopilot when I’m there. For instance, and this is not a plug, but several years ago she recommended I switch to a Sonicare electric toothbrush from the electric I was using at the time, and that change alone has done wonders for my oral health. Now I hardly bleed at all during cleanings! Lauren, Dr. Rastegari’s assistant, is very attentive. Whenever I've had a procedure done, I've noticed she's never had to be prompted in any way to do what comes next. They always seem totally in tune with one another. Susie, the office manager as well as Dr. Rastegari's sister, is efficient and is always able to accommodate me by working appointments around my schedule, which involves coming in from out of town. I will close with this. Recently I happened to be in another dentist’s office (not my previous dentist’s but another dentist's), and I have to say it was a shock to the senses after what I’m used to. It almost felt like being on the floor of a stock exchange, or inside a bee hive! People were wearing headsets, milling around... In comparison, Dr. Rastegari’s practice has a family feel and a relaxed, personal touch. I guess this is what it boils down to -- the people there are the reason I continue to make the trip from southern PA."

"I have been seeing Dr. Rastegari for a few years and have been totally satisfied with every procedure, every result, and every referral to a specialist. She is a caring, careful highly professional dentist. When there are options Dr, Rastegari will clearly explain the pros and cons of each as well as her recommendation. Lori the hygienist has the skills and takes the time to keep my teeth and gums healthy. She too is careful, caring and highly professional. In spite of my advancing age, my teeth and gums have never been in better shape. The office works with you to make sure they can accommodate you. When we ran into an unexpected issue that could not be accommodated in the scheduled time, Dr. Rastegari came in on her day off so that I had a perfect result before I had to leave on a trip. I highly recommend this practice."

"I'm a pharmacist and have high standards for my own healthcare. I compare the atmosphere in Dr Rastegari's office to the old school pharmacy where they get to know you, and take the time to talk and explain things, as compared to the modern CVS where your a number in a prescription factory. Hands down it was the best dental experience I've ever had (and I've had plenty). Saw Dr Rastegari for a crown and it far exceeded any dental work I had done previously. From the very beginning, the atmosphere was calm, everything was explained, and never felt like just a number as in other offices where the dentist is running back and forth from room to room. The entire experience was painless, even the numbing needle. When going back to my previous dental office for replacement of a crown they had done which broke, that dentist commented on the quality of Dr Rastegari's work, as did a dental hygienist friend.
