"Dr. Jensen has been my dentist since 1997. He has also been my wife's and 3 daughters' dentist as well. He is, in a word, fantastic! Although you might at first mistake him for "old school," he is actually very progressive in his approach, highly advanced in his skill set, and cautious and conservative in taking out or replacing anything. He tries to avoid any procedure that may be unnecessary so you can keep what you were born with as long as you can. He will drill and remove only when necessary. "Dr. Jensen is the most trustworthy dentist I've even seen in the past 30 years! I wish I found Dr. Jensen earlier... Few days ago my front crown fell out. A small crown, but a big hole up front. I rushed into my previous dentist's office (also a top Washingtonian dentist) for a consultation. He took x-ray and told me the current crown can't be used anymore, it's completely broken. He will need to use better material to make a stronger post and order me a new crown. Or he can do implant for me... I went back to the dentist who did my crown for a 2nd opinion. He said since majority of the tooth was gone, the root is weak, another crown would fall out again. He can do an implant for me to permanently solve the problem... I don't want to do implant (if possible). I consulted one more within my network. He told me similar stuff, referred me to his periodontist for implant evaluation... Gee, a new crown? or implant? What's a good solution and who can give me an honest answer? At this point I desperately calling friends... A good friend strongly recommended Dr. Jensen, who her family trusted for many years. I called the office, the receptionist is very kind and knowledgeable, asked about the situation and said Dr. Jensen will take a look and maybe he can re-cement it back! Fresh air! and he did! Dr. Jensen squeezed me in after his last patient that same day. He carefully cleaned up the crown, made a strong post (turned out there is no proper post with my old crown), and re-cemented it back. He patiently adjusted the crown by asking me to grind teeth back and forth. Now I have the same crown that fits better than before! It's hard to describe how grateful and happy I feel. Dr. Jensen has the rare combination of high integrity and skills! From now on my family will move to Dr. Jensen, regardless insurance!"
