"I Was getting the run around all day by a doctor I visited, basically he never sent any information to the Germantown pharmacy. There were alot of complications by the doctor, luckily Adam saved the day, made everything easy, accessible for me to obtain my prescription. Just wanted to recognize him, give him props for doing an excellent job, thank you Adam!!"

"Refused to give me the refill that my doctor prescribed, with severe results. They took a "one size fits all" approach without asking any questions that I'd have been happy to answer. I then laid out my situation but the pharmacists ignored this. I was using them for many years and this nightmarish episode occurred only after a big turnover in staff. These people should lose their license."

"They are not easy at all or convenient. I gave them 5 chances....FIVE. everytime i had to answer all sorts pf questions and hassle they harrased my doctor every time as well. They are bound by so much policy that it gets in the lway of convenience. I went to cvs today...im pretty sure the only words i heard from the pharmacy there was...here is your medication...have a nice day sir. Wegmans pharmacy is a buerocracy that treated me like a number and never once they were sorry about any inconvenience. The pharmacist there tries to play doctor and questions prescriptions that were written by real doctora. Advice...if the script is correct then fill the script and hand ot to the customer...stay in your lane as a pharmacy and let doctors and patients be what they are."

"The staff is competent and helpful. One time my daughter's medication was no longer produced by the manufacturer and the Wegman's team called around to the other Wegmans and located the script. She even when to the store, more than 30 miles away to pick it up."

"Wegman's offers up to $100 in free groceries for transfer of five prescriptions. They have to, because no one would switch to this pharmacy for free. I switched to Wegman's after Weiss in Damascus changed their computer system and their best tech cut back his hours. The transitions caused time delays and errors with which I just did not have time to deal. Little did I know, Wegman's would prove to be an absolute disaster. My 95 yr. old mother is on a number of medications that her doctors constantly adjust. She, my husband and I all have excellent Rx insurance. In the few months I have been with Wegman's one tech in training lost a script over a holiday weekend, looked for it twice and came up empty. A day later the pharmacist found it, at my urging, on her first try. The Wegman's staff lured us in with the promise of easy transfer of scripts and the free grocery vouchers. When refills were needed they claimed to have put through requests to our doctor and our former pharmacy, however, days went by with countless phone calls to get the drugs needed for my mom. Wegman's did not even have some very common drugs and we had to wait until they could get them. We were told several times by Wegman's technicians that mom's insurance would not allow certain drugs but when we asked to speak with the pharmacist the drug was suddenly allowed. We were also charged for drugs without the insurance being applied because of technician error. One of the Wegman's pharmacists is very nice and tries to be helpful. She seems to be stymied by a misinformed, ill trained support staff. Also, the practice of calling the doctor's office to resolve issues does not happen. They rely on faxes even when it is obvious the faxes are not going through. When medical staff call them, the technicians are rude and unconcerned with the customer's frustration, let alone the patient's health and well being. If you value your time, health and sanity, do not use this pharmacy. No amount of free groceries is worth one's health!"
