"Update 22 May 2023: Unfortunately the service did not end well. The opening of the pool revealed that they had not treated the pool with the proper winter chemicals. It looked like a pond. Instead of taking quick action to remedy the situation, they did very little and were unresponsive to my calls to fix the situation. I do not mind mistakes but I expect a grown person to admit their mistakes and work hard to remedy the situation. Unfortunately, neither was in evidence here. I would not recommend this business. I contacted Northern Pool Services after being disappointed with the service that I received from a competitor earlier in the year. It is a fairly new business and I decided after speaking with their manager, that I would ask them to perform my pool closing. I am glad that I did! I was impressed with their attention to detail and service. Joel the technician and proprietor was extremely professional. He arrived on time with all of the necessary equipment and took his time with the work. In addition, he made some recommendations for minor repairs that in the end would likely save me time and money over the long run. I am a stickler and detailed oriented and am often critical of service work. Joel exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend Northern Virginia Pool Services."
