"Very nice place to stay while up in Cook Forest area. Roomy, nice large porch to relax and enjoy the stars at night. Easy to find by directions given. I would recommend staying here. I come to this cabin twice a year. I find it peace and relaxing. I just stayed here May 19th through the 22nd, 2022. I even seen a Black Bear walk right in front of me, it was about 32 feet away from me. 9/8/22 - 9/11/22 I just came home from another weekend in the Knotty Pines Cabin. It's still a very nice cabin, although we had a few issues this time and a few surprises too. They fixed water issue in bathroom and the toilet doesn't have mineral deposits in the bowl, they improved the fire ring area to include a picnic table. There was issues with the kitchen lights staying on."

"Very nice location - quiet and relaxing but it wasn’t very clean. Counter tops were sticky. There was an open jar of sauce and a ketchup bottle open in the cabinet. The refrigerator was dirty. Mold in the grill outside. The deck is big but nowhere to sit. They had lounge chairs but they were dirty so we couldn’t use them. However, the cabin is spacious which was nice! More than enough room! Great place, just wish it wasn’t so dirty since we pay a cleaning fee."
