"I’m grateful for the location and the store is clean and stocked fairly decent…. but the overall customer service is one of the worst environments I’ve ever walked in to. I work in customer service and I understand it can be very trying at times, I get it, I truly do! But if you have a customer that is always kind and tries to engage in a conversation with you the appropriate, respectful, and professional thing to do is respond with similar energy. They are so disengaging, I’m talking even the managers. My only guess would be it’s internal and probably starts at the top! It’s unfortunate cause it kills the overall vibe of the store!"

"Just like any other D.G. store as far as merchandize but this one (Croton ave) is very clean and have friendly workers and every time I go there isn't a bunch of people in there which helps with my anxiety. I'd recommend going to this one before any other one in New Castle, Pa."

"Returning from an errand and after hearing how much a coworker liked the new Dollar General on Croton I decided to stop by and check it out. First off the DG app would not load. Tried several times. Spoke with an employee and was told you needed to be by the cash register for that to work AND cell phones in general didn't work in the store mentioning several major cell companies. Did tell me there were ads for sales to refer to. So do digital coupons work here? The new store looked beautiful more home goods to choose from. If you're just doing what my coworker does daily on her way to work of picking up snacks and drinks it's fine. However if I'm planning on buying things using digital coupons and scanning items then no. Maybe I'll try again when they have a non coupon sale or I just want a snack and drink. I put back the couple of items in my cart and went to my regular store by 388 to do my shopping."
