"My husband and I went Otani last night and we’re both very pleased. The waitress Karina, suggested what to order for the best value for two the Sumo, with chicken, shrimp and steak. It was delicious! I appreciated her suggestion and I will definitely order it next time. The cook was friendly, entertaining and professional. I’m glad my hubby stumbled across this restaurant and we’ll be back!"

"This place used to be our go-to date night, but has gone downhill. We came here and placed an order to-go. They told us it would be about 35 minutes for the order to be ready. After 30 minutes of waiting we checked in to see if it was almost done. They told us it would be another 15-20 minutes. After almost an hour of waiting they finally gave us a bag of food. When we checked the order we were missing the soup and salad and sauces and had to wait for them to get us the correct items. Very disappointing and long experience. Our to-go order took just as long as if we had eaten there! We’ll be trying one of the other hibachi restaurants next time."

"We went to Otani Japanese Steakhouse for a birthday party, the chef was awesome and the show was fun as he involved the entire family. The standard volcano was turned into a Birthday candle and we all sang happy birthday. It was very entertaining. One of our party has shellfish allergies and the chef took extra care to keep everything well separated. Will definitely return."
