"Delicious food, we had rice bowls, the pork with curry was the best! Ramen & pork dumpling’s. Friendly service"

"This is my go to location for Akira Ramen. Everything is on point as far as the food goes. I have tried Karaage Ramen and a few types of Sushi, and nothing disappoints. The dessert comes from the place right next to it called Kyoto Matcha and boy is it good! Pricing is decent and the location being new is much nicer and cleaner."

"I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a mouthwatering Japanese katsu don that left me craving more. The perfectly crispy katsu paired with the flavorful donburi rice made for a delicious combination that satisfied my taste buds. The addition of the pickled veggies added a delightful tang and crunch to each bite, elevating the dish to a new level of deliciousness. It was truly a taste sensation that I won't soon forget. To complement this delightful meal, I decided to try both the brown sugar boba tea with almond milk and the Thai milk tea. Both beverages were incredibly refreshing and packed with flavor. The brown sugar boba tea with almond milk had a subtly sweet taste that perfectly balanced the chewy boba pearls, while the Thai milk tea had a rich, aromatic profile that added a hint of exoticism to my dining experience. The combination of the delectable katsu don and the delightful boba teas made for a truly satisfying and enjoyable meal. I couldn't help but savor each bite and sip, thoroughly immersing myself in the culinary experience. Overall, the combination of flavors, textures, and the overall dining experience left me feeling incredibly fulfilled and eager to return for another scrumptious meal."

"Came here with The Missus (bless 'er) recently, after having dined at the Rockville and Columbia locations. I must say that in quality of service, product and ambience, this location was easily the least of the three. We both had a strawberry milk boba- which took, frankly, way too long to come to the table. Had the restaurant been busy (we were one of four active tables), I could understand the wait, but over ten minutes was not a good sign - especially when our first course came before the drinks. To be fair, the first course was the jalapeno and yellowtail sashimi with ponzu sauce. The Missus (bless 'er) ordered it, it came we ate it. To follow, I had the smoked eel rice bowl and The Missus had...I don't know some roll that just wasn't very memorable. Our server was in a rush (for some unknown reason), asking us if we were ready to order about 2 minutes after we sat down. I am not exaggerating. So we just ordered the yellowtail to buy ourselves some time with the menu. Basically, we came because of the other locations, which is where we will return to because this location really didn't do it for us. I'm sure they have their off days like everyone else, so we will be back. If things are different, I will amend this review."
