Gogigo Korean BBQ - Frederick,MD

"We finally have a Korean BBQ place in Frederick. We went right at 5pm and it was a 5 minute wait. I was very surprised with the amount of food supplied. Ordered A+ B and we got like 10 strips of pork belly and a heaping pile of gogi. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing. They were limited on drinks but it was totally fine, honestly getting a soda in a can was a fun change. Hope they keep that as an option. Definitely going back soon!"

"I am so happy this place finally opened! Wait was a bit long and I think the front people were probably overwhelmed so service was a little lacking. But this place is new so I can’t be upset at that! Management handled things really well and went around to make sure everyone was being taken care of. Our server, Rachel was the best! She was very nice and attentive. I’m not a KBBQ snob but I have been to so many that I think I know what good kbbq meat should taste like! That being said, Gogigo exceeded all expectations I had. We ended up getting option B and all the meat were really good quality which is very surprising because this place can’t even be compared to others in terms of quality. We usually don’t get bulgogi since many kbbq places who serves them have it just so-so. But gogigo’s bulgogi… 10/10 would order again! They had very tasty sides as well just make sure you don’t over cook the steamed egg and corn cheese! One thing I would say is I didn’t care too much about their sauces. I think when you have good quality meat, you don’t need it. I am a sesame oil with salt and pepper type of kbbq gal so that was good enough for me. Can’t wait to take my friends and family here whenever they visit us!"

"I love Korean BBQ. I was stationed in Korea and have been obsessed with Korean food ever since. Honey Pig is the closest I've ever had to getting KBBQ that was as good as the stuff served in country. Gogigo does a decent job of satisfying that itch. The liquor license hadn't gone through when we went (it was opening week), but they advised it would be good to go shortly. The server was nice and helpful, and the all you can eat meat was delicious. The atmosphere was lacking, in my opinion, but hey, I was there to eat grilled meat and that's what I got."

"So happy to have our first KBBQ in Frederick. Even though it’s a newly opened restaurant I’m so impressed with the friendly and quick service. I wish people would understand that they are still adjusting to the extremely high demand in the area. They were able to provide quality meat. I especially loved the beef brisket and the pork belly here. I want to give a special shout out to our server Alicia. She gave great recommendations and explanations of the rules and meats offered at Gogigo. Worth the wait, we will be back soon!!"

"Had the pleasure of being invited to experience Gogigo before they opened! These other reviews have nothing on this. The meats are some of the freshest, most flavorful cuts I have ever seen and consumed at a KBBQ establishment. I have been to many, especially in northern virginia- triumphing over Honest Grill, Meat Project, and Iron Age. The sides were phenomenal- fresh and flavorful. The meats were well seasoned, portioned well, and above all, extremely flavorful. One thing, this establishment is not necessarily vegetarian friendly, as they use fat to grease the grill. I recommend you all swing by to try!!"
