About the Business
Your Child's Place is a trusted daycare and preschool institution located in Vienna, Virginia. Since 1995, we have been providing a nurturing and affordable all-day program for young children, as well as a play-based Preschool Curriculum for older children. Our focus is on creating a happy and healthy environment for children to transition from home to school.
At YCP, we believe in hands-on education without the distractions of technology. Our center features two house-like structures, the Little House for infants and young children, and the Big House for preschoolers. We offer a creative and stimulating learning environment with two playgrounds, an outdoor classroom, and a multi-purpose room for all ages.

"My son started at YCP as a baby and he’s been very happy here. The teachers are caring and thoughtful. Ms Gloria was my son’s teacher around 2yo and he adores her, she’s truly one of a kind. The owners are very involved and appear to be kind and caring towards the staff, as we’ve seen very little turnover. Kids go out on the playground every day and they do all sorts of stimulating activities daily; on special occasions the kids would come home with beautiful projects they create with the teachers. All in all a great place, we highly recommend it!"
"I can't say enough wonderful things about Your Child's Place. I have such peace of mind knowing that my kids are happy and safe every day. The teachers are wonderful and caring and I'm very happy with the preschool education my kids are receiving. They also get lots of time to play and run around outside-- the school has two beautiful, large outdoor spaces with lots of trees and shade. Since COVID-19, they have also taken every possible precaution to keep everyone healthy and safe."

Our boys were always happy to be there, never cried during drop off, and were more than ready for Kindergarten when it was time to graduate from pre-school.
